With assets over $350 million and more than 950 charitable funds, BCF has granted nearly $800 million since its inception in 1972 and is one of the Baltimore region’s top foundations. Accredited by the Council on Foundation’s National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations, BCF partners with philanthropic individuals, families and companies to direct more than 5,000 gifts and grants each year to support a wide range of issues affecting the Baltimore region. With a team of less than 25 core staff members, BCF’s is a small team that embraces reliability, hard work, fun and accountability.
Over the last several years, BCF has doubled its assets under management and has elevated its role as one of the region’s most prominent civic leaders, grantors and impact investors.
